Special Occasions at Greta Hall

Meals, Special Meals & Cakes
Imagine.... a long days walk on the fells, kids & adults are tired and hungry. Who really wants to start cooking? We offer homebaked, nutritional family meals (vegetarian and locally sourced are our specially) delivered to your accommodation in oven to tableware for you to serve yourselves.

Or, treat yourself to a 'proper' afternoon tea in your own sitting room or in the garden.

For a really special occasion we offer fully catered meals. Buffet or sit down with waitress/waiter service in your accommodation ior in the garden. We can cater for up to 50.

In addition, we bake a range of family cakes and biscuits or we can order a special celebration cake for you.

Children's Birthday Parties
Is one of your children celebrating a birthday while you are staying? We can provide a lovely birthday party for you; party food, decorations, party games & music either in your accomodation or in the garden.

Honeymoons
The Lake District is a perfect choice for the perfect honeymoon. Book the whole of the Coleridge Wing and enjoy the open fire, the 150 year old opium bed and stunning walks. Flowers and champagne on arrival.

Special Occasions
Celebrate by booking all the accomodation and inviting friends and family. In total Greta Hall can sleep 19 plus a maximum of 5 babies.

Wedding Receptions at Greta Hall
Very small receptions can be held in either the Coleridge Wing or Coach House. Occasionally we can offer fully catered wedding receptions in the garden of Greta Hall.

Christmas
Christmas is a very special time at Greta Hall. Tastefully decorated real Christmas trees and lovely accommodation are the perfect setting for either a quiet 'away from it all' celebration or a festive season full of family and friends.
